We had a wonderful day outside today! We found lots of interesting critters and just enjoyed being in God's amazing world!!
The beautiful night sky from my back deck!!
We found a bat on the back of our house!!!
The kids found a frog in the yard!
A bird decided to build a nest in the kitchen center on the back deck! There is even a little egg inside! The mother was in there this morning and Cameron thought it was a baby bird so we all head out there with the camera to get a photo & she came flying out of her nest! It scared us half to death.
The kids had a bike ride!
Cameron and some great homeschool friends!

that's my kind of day. so relaxing and fun discovering all of God's natural surprises and creations!!!
I have found that momma birds are ALOT like us when it comes to their babies. For the last three years, a bird has built a nest in the eave of our back porch and everytime you get too close, she's flies out at you. She then perches close by and watches you to make sure you don't mess with her babies. I know the fear...I saw that Alfred Hitchcock movie "BIRDS" when I was younger...never have looked at a bird in the same way.
